Events entangle, unravel, and intertwine again into an unsolvable knot, so that the young people, following seemingly incompatible facts and events, can solve the mystery of Peter's oath.

Dubbed the first Latvian crypto-novel, Eva Mārtuža's "Peter's Oath" was first published in 2008; revised by the author, the novel is experiencing its second edition.
