The manufacturer specifies a range of up to 1000 m (not tested - the dog has always been nearby).
Used until we learned/adjusted the desired commands. Only sound and vibration modes were used. The battery lasts long in these modes.
A strap with a width of ~2 cm can be used for the receiver. I can provide a strap 42 cm long (it shows signs of use).
