Heat alleviates colic pain in babies, which can be caused by stress while adjusting to new conditions – life in a different environment outside of the mother's belly, as well as processing new food. Heat reduces pain, promotes blood circulation, and helps relax the contracted muscles in the small tummy. Used only a couple of times because there were no colics.
