“Saboteur — The Dark Cave” is a standalone game that mimics the atmosphere of the game “Saboteur.” At the beginning of the game, each player is assigned to a clan, although it may happen that they are in the role of a saboteur within the clan. Starting with the mine card in the middle of the table, players take turns placing path cards to build a route from the mines to four cards in the outer corners, of which only one is the exit. In addition to building paths, players play cards to acquire equipment, place monsters in front of others, reveal their clan members, and determine the location of the exit before building the path. As soon as a player gets out of the mines, they reveal their identity, adding all the gold they have obtained to their clan's total gain.
