This set stands out for its delicacy: the central composition of the plates features hand-painted scenic views of Mount Fuji, blooming peonies, and cherry blossoms. Each brushstroke conveys the beauty and tranquility of ancient Japanese nature. On the back of each item is a historical mark with the hieroglyphs 大日本 (Dai Nippon), which translates to "Great Japan." Such a seal is characteristic of export porcelain from the Meiji era and early Showa period (up to the 1930s), when Japanese artisans delighted the world with their unparalleled craftsmanship. The items are made of high-quality "egg shell" porcelain. They are so thin and elegant that they are translucent against the light, creating a gentle glow. The edges of the plates are adorned with detailed geometric decals in rich tones, harmoniously complementing the central design. The dishes are in excellent condition — without cracks or chips.
