Wooden Riga

The collection of articles is dedicated to a lesser-known and disappearing part of Riga's history, a significant cultural heritage of the city — wooden architecture, which, thanks to the unexpectedly large number of preserved buildings, forms one of the most astonishing and unique features of Riga. The book features a rich array of images, consisting of both contemporary environmental captures and archived visual testimonies, many of which are being seen for the first time.
